Published on Feb 14, 2017
South Sudan faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, with an estimated 7.5 million people in need of relief assistance. Three years into a devastating civil crisis, over 1.8 million people remain internally displaced and millions more are suffering from the impact of war. In 2017, IOM is appealing for over $76 million to continue lifesaving humanitarian operations to reach the most vulnerable individuals across the country. IOM is also appealing for over $14 million to continue critical transition and recovery and migration management activities.
