IOM provides multi-sector humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations across South Sudan as conflict, access constraints and food insecurity continue to drive increased needs and displacement.

Since December 2013, the crisis has displaced nearly 2.27 million people, including approximately 1.64 million people who remain internally displaced. In 2015, relief agencies seek to provide assistance to an estimated 4.6 million people facing severe food insecurity.

Connecting aid agencies through a base camp, IOM humanitarian hubs will allow humanitarian actors to communicate, plan and deliver aid more efficiently and effectively.
