The three days Fertit Wau County customary law review comes as a follow-up to review the validation of Fertit conference outcome hosted in Wau in August.
Two months ago, the seven ethnic fertit of Wau county community, Viri, Bor, Bai, Ndogo, Sere, Golo and Bongo conducted a five days customary law Ascertainment conference to review their traditional laws and document them before incorporating them into the State law.
“This is under the "Community Action for Peaceful Resolution of Housing, Land and Property (HLP) Disputes and Conflict under peacebuilding project,” supported by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund.
